Carbon fiber has many excellent properties, the axial strength and modulus of carbon fiber is high, low density, high specific performance, no creep, ultra-high temperature resistance under the oxidation environment, good fatigue resistance, heat and conductivity between nonmetal and metal, small thermal expansion coefficient and anisotropy, good corrosion resistance, good X-ray permeability.

Compared with the traditional glass fiber, the Young's modulus is 3 times times more than that of the Kevlar fiber, the Young's modulus is about twice times that in organic solvents, acids and alkalis, corrosion resistance is outstanding. February 2018, China fully independently developed the first hundred ton grade T1000 carbon fiber production line.
